PERSONAL
READINGS / FAQs
People
often come for a reading in times of change, or when they are stressed or
uncertain, or in need a new perspective - or at any time at all. Consultations
last one hour to ninety minutes, which gives enough time to examine pressing issues and a look
at at least twelve months ahead. Many people then come back for further updates
and clarification.
- Why
have a personal reading? A
personal study of your horoscope is what astrology is really all
about. A chart based on an accurate birthtime is an indespensible guide
to your past, present and probable future, revealing your talents, challenges,
desires, and life path.
- How
much is a personal reading? A
personal reading, either in person or via telephone costs sixty pounds,
payable by cheque, bank transfer, or PayPal. We have to agree a one-off price in
advance for a personal emailed report, to reflect the extra work involved.
- How
do I arrange it? Email
me to arrange a consultation - this can be done face to face
if you are in London, or over the telephone if you supply me with
your birth details in advance. Alternatively, I can send you written report
via email, if you send me some specific questions (maximum of five,
please). Written chart reports obviously involve more heavy lifting, so
supplying questions or specific areas of interest enable me to focus on
the main issues.
- Does
a birth time really make a difference? Absolutely, preferably
to within at least 15 or 20 minutes - the time of birth is where
the all-important ascendant or 'rising sign' is derived from, which
determines
the whole layout of the chart. You can derive 100% more information from
a chart based on an accurate timing.
- I
want to know about my partner. Astrology
can reveal a great deal about love and relationships. Looking at more than
one horoscope involves more work, however, and there are also confidentiality
issues which mean that I can only look at a partner's chart with the third
party's consent. However, your own chart says most of all about the
kind of relationship you can expect and the kind of person you attract,
and always forms the basis of a 'synastry' (relationship) reading.
- What
about computer reports? Computer print-outs have become highly
sophisticated, but they are not a substitute for a one-to-one dialogue with
an experienced astrologer. Computer reports lack the context
that a personal reading provides, plus you can't ask them questions.
Last,
but not least it is important to realise I may ask questions of
you in the course of a reading. Some people hold back, considering that
it is up to me to probe their secrets and to show how 'psychic' I am. However,
it is far more important to get meaning from the chart and to this end, a
dialogue is always better than a monologue. Issues that start off hazy and
unfocused become clear and sharp very soon.
